…new Permanent Secretary gets 60 days to complete Phase I of Light Up Edo project
The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of Engr. Victor Osagbouwa Obanor as the Functioning Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Electricity.
He is to replace Engr. Stephen Uyiekpen, who served as Functioning Permanent Secretary in the ministry.
In a statement, Secretary to the Edo State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., said: “The Edo State Government hereby announces for the information of the general public that the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has approved the appointment of Engr. Victor Osagbouwa Obanor as the Functioning Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Electricity.
“The new Functioning Permanent Secretary is an Electrical Engineer and was until now, the Director of Electricity, Ministry of Mining and Energy.
“He has been given sixty (60) days to complete the Light-Up Edo Project Phase 1.
“Engineer Uyiekpen is to hand over all government properties in his possession to the new Functioning Permanent Secretary of the ministry.”
