Asaba – Honourable Commissioner for Primary Education, Chief Sunday Onoriode, has appealed to leaders and party executives in Ethiope East Local Government Area, to mobilize all eligible voters to vote Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and her candidates in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

Onoriode gave the charge on Sunday 6th November, in Abraka, at a meeting convened by Ethiope East LGA Chairman of PDP, Hon Felix Erhimedafe, saying that Nigerians are ready to partner with PDP, to take back, restore and reset the country.

He said the state governor and PDP Vice Presidential candidate, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, CON, has done so much for Ethiope East LGA in terms of political appointments, socioeconomic development, roads infrastructure.

Onoriode urged the leaders to ensure that the party wins and win big across board, five over five.

“Our party’s Ward to Ward campaign starts Monday November 7, and our amiable governorship candidate, Rt Hon Oborevwori Sheriff Francis Orohwedor, shall personally campaign in all the Ward as contained in the time table.

“Unit campaigns will start after Ward campaigns. Unit chairmen and leaders are to mobilize members for door to door campaign. This is a new electioneering strategy and we must work very hard to win in Ethiope East.

“The Atiku-Okowa and Sheriff-Onyeme presidential and governorship tickets is our project, we stand to benefit greatly with governor Okowa as Vice President of Nigeria, and Oborevwori as governor. Both of them are leaders with the interests of the peoples at heart.

“Let’s reach out to all eligable voters at Ward and Unit levels, win your Unit and Ward, five over five,” Onoriode said.

The LGA PDP chairman, Felix Erhimedafe, presided at the meeting, noted that for PDP to win big and in all local governments, members must not leave any stone unturned to win all polling units in 2023.

“I plead with all of us to go all out from Ward to Ward, Unit to Unit campaigning. We have so much to showcase during campaign. Victory is sure,” Erhimedafe said.

Chief Abel Ogboru, who recently defected from APGA to PDP was presented to the LGA PDP chairman by Okakuro Tony Oboroh. He described Ogboru as a politician with integrity and grassroots penetration.
