The song “Calm Down” by Nigerian musician Rema has set a new standard and is continuing to raise the bar as it maintains its position in the top 10 of the UK official singles chart.
Rema recently gave an electrifying performance with Saudi Arabian singer Dalia Mabarak of his popular track “Calm Down” at the 2023 Joy Awards, which were held on Saturday night in Saudi Arabia at the Bakr al-Sheddi Theater on Boulevard Riyadh City.
The Joy Awards is the biggest event to recognise and honour the artistic accomplishments of the Middle East.
There are 13 awards presented in all, including nominees for both male and female celebrities in a range of categories and genres.
Rema did not perform on stage by himself; he was joined by Saudi Arabian singer Dalia Mubarak, who sang a stanza of the song “Calm Down” in a soothing, velvety voice.
