Warri – A middle-aged man, identified as Louis Saturday Agboma, has been shot dead in Mosogar community, Ethiope-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
It was learnt that the gunmen attempted to abduct the victim at the entrance of his compound while returning from an outing, but due to fierce resistance, he was reportedly shot at close range and left in a pool of his blood.
The victim was confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital.
The kidnapped victim is said to be the son of one Peter Akpoyibo.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a text message.
