The Nigeria Premier Football League 2022/23 match day two fixture involving Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin and Plateau United of Jos has been rescheduled to hold on Thursday, January 19, 2023.
The match was originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 4 pm at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin.
The fixture adjustment is occasioned by logistics concerns which affected Insurance FC’s opponents Plateau United who needed extra day of preparation to travel and rest well following their match day one game with Shooting Stars which was played on Sunday, January 15, 2023 in Jos, Plateau State capital.
The rescheduled match is now expected to kick off at 4:00pm on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City.
Insurance FC currently top group A table after beating the 2021 NPFL champions Akwa United 2-0 in the first away game of the season in Uyo.
