Akwa United head coach, Deji Ayeni says his team is battle-ready for their Nigeria Premier Football League Match-Day-Two encounter against Enyimba in Aba on Wednesday.
Eyimba were stunned 2-0 by new boys, Akwa United at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo in their opening fixture.
Akwa United who are former champions, were thoroughly outplayed by the Bendel Insurance in front of their fans. Another defeat against Eyimba, who defeated Nasarawa United 2-1 away in their opening-day game will no doubt put pressure on Ayeni, the teams trainer.
Ayeni stated that they are going for victory against hosts, Eyimba and are fully ready for the task ahead.
“Victory against Enyimba is not negotiable.
