Super Eagles forward, Henry Onyekuru is excited following his brace for Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Super Lig victory over Istanbulspor.
Two goals from Onyekuru and lonely strikes from Younes Belhanda, Yusuf Sari, Badou NDiaye and Gokhan Tore gave the home side the win. In all, Adana Demirspor beat Istanbulspor 6-0 on January 5 at the new Adana Stadium.
After the game, Onyekuru expressed delight over his brace on Twitter.
“Starting the new year how we want to continue. All praises the most high. Grateful to get my brace for the team,” the Tweet reads.
Onyekuru has got six goals and two assists in 15 Turkish Super Lig games this season. He has two goals in 16 caps for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Having accumulated 30 points from 16 games, Adana Demirspor are fourth in the Turkish Super Lig.
