Hundreds of passengers were left stranded following the derailment of another train in Abuja on Friday.
The Abuja-Kaduna train derailed at the Kubwa axis of Abuja on Friday afternoon.
Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Engr. Fidet Okhiria, confirmed the incident but said he was yet to get details of what was responsible for the incident.
This is coming few days after an Itakpe-Warri train derailed in a forest in Kogi State, with the 143 passengers safely evacuated.
The Corporation said it suspected vandalism as the cause of the derailment, but added that investigation was ongoing
