Popular Nigerian singers, Burnaboy, Tems, and Rema have continued to put the country’s name on the world map as they dished out classic performances at the 2023 NBA halftime show on Sunday night.
The 2023 NBA all-star game, which aimed to raise funds for charity, featured star players from both conferences and was a thrilling experience for the fans.
Aside from the game, the highlight of the night was the Afrobeats-themed performance by the three Nigerian artists, Burna Boy, Tems, and Rema who brought their A-game to the stage.
Pascal Siakam, the Cameroonian star from the Toronto Raptors, introduced Burna Boy, who kicked off the show with a thrilling performance of his hit song ‘Anybody,’ accompanied by his Outsiders Band.
Rema followed with an outstanding performance of his global smash hit ‘Calm Down‘ and a lively performance of his new single ‘Holiday.’
Tems then took the stage and captivated the audience with her classy stage presence, performing her hit singles ‘Free Mind’ and ‘Higher’ before closing the show with ‘Essence.’
Burna Boy returned to the stage and closed the show with an impressive rendition of his smash hits ‘YE’ and ‘Last Last,’ proving once again why he is one of the world’s best-performing acts.
