Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki, and his deputy, Rt. Hon. Philip Shaibu, have cast their votes in the ongoing presidential and National Assembly elections.
Governor Obaseki voted at Polling Unit 19, Emokpae Model Primary School, Oredo, in Oredo LGA of Edo State, and left at about 11:30am amidst heavy security presence.
Deputy Governor Shaibu accredited and cast his vote at Azama Primary School, Unit 5, Ward 11 Jattu, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state at 10:47am.
Across Edo State, voting has commenced in most polling units with reports of large voter turnout.
