Impressive Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin were on Saturday, February 4, 2023, held to a barren draw at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City in the week six fixture of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

This was against all expectations that the Benin Arsenals will extend their winning streak and scintillating performances since the kickoff of the season in Uyo where they defeated former League Champions Akwa United 2-0 in front of their fans.

Some followers of the Benin Arsenals in their reactions, believed that the fixtures congestion could be a factor that have affected the scoring ability of the boys who have been extraordinary since the League commenced.

The result, though not good enough for the high flying Insurance but it keeps the Group A Leaders in the driving seat with sixteen points from six games.

Recall that Bendel Insurance pipped El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri 1-0 on Wednesday to amass 15 points.
