The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has inspected some ongoing road construction works and other projects in the Benin metropolis, promising quality and speedy completion of the construction projects.

The governor was accompanied on the inspection by the Permanent Secretary, Road and Bridges, Mr. Osikhena Ojior; Special Adviser, Strategy, Policy, Projects and Performance Management, Sarah Esangbedo Ajose-Adeogun, and other top government functionaries.

Some of the projects inspected include the 7.62km Iduowina Road, 818m Textile Mill Road, Ekenwan Road, New Found Lane, Sapele Road, and 2.8km cover and open drain at Five Junction, all in Benin City.

The 2.8km drain inspected by the governor at Five Junction in Benin City will carry water from Canaan Street off Textile Mill Road, 2nd West, through NTA, Kada House with a discharge point at Eghosa Grammar School.
