The presidential candidate of Labour Party, Peter Obi, has won the presidential election in Lagos State, having scored 582,664 votes to defeat Tinubu who scored 541,850 votes. The presidential election results were declared this morning.

On a local government by local government basis, Obi pooled 71,327 votes in Alimosho Local Government Area of the state, which is the largest voting bloc in Lagos, to defeat Tinubu who scored 62,909 votes. PDP scored 8,201 in the same local council.

In Ojo Local Government, another large voting bloc, Obi scored 38,859 votes to defeat Tinubu who scored 20,603 votes.

Across the country, Bola Ahmed Tinubu still leads and he is being followed by Atiku Abubakar of PDP and Peter Obi of LP.
