The spiritual leader of Christ Chosen Church of God International (CCCI), Most. Senior Apostle David Unuefe Ikhuiwu on Wednesday admonished women in different endeavours on need to be alive to their responsibilities either in family circle, business or church environments by adding value to impact lives positively.
Most Snr Apostle David made the declaration during his opening remarks at the 2023 International Women Convention of Christ Chosen Church God International which commenced on last Wednesday.
In his opening speech, the spiritual leader who declared the convention opened, according to the theme of convention “Arise and Take Dominion”, urged all women to lead by example by taking control and being alive to their responsibilities in the family, in their chosen fields of endeavours, and in the church.
He said: “Women should understand their position. They are out there to add value to the growth of their families, businesses and not to destroy them.
“Take charge, take dominion, gone are the days women seat at the back; come forward and do something meaningful. Do not be a lazy woman. Be productive by affecting people’s lives as a mother take good care of the children very well then secondly as a wife, know what is good for your husbands.”
He cautioned women against leaving the full responsibility of caring for their husbands and families in the hands of house helps noting that the trend must not be encouraged as most women in it end up not knowing and meeting the needs of their husbands in these circumstances.
Most.Snr.Apostle.David however advised women in Christ to be a leading example by being alive to their responsibilities in church, work places and in businesses and family circle adding that it was the only mandate handed down to women by God to live in happiness and harmony with one another and in his holiness.
On her part, the coordinator of general of women, Christ Chosen Church of God International, Snr. Rev. Maltida Unuefe Ikhuiwu urged the women to take advantage of the benefits to be derived from the convention.
She admonished the women to be God-fearing and remain steadfast in prayers in allowing the holy spirit to impact them spiritually through the convention.
Another official that spoke at the convention was Snr.Rev.Mary Igberiase advised all women to rise up against all forms of challenges and trials of life by being steadfast in communicating with God through prayers.
She said: “Trials and challenges must be conquered else they will conquer you. Rise up and communicate with God in order to overcome your daily trials,”
Rev.Merry Ehigie on her part urged the women to always allow the spirit of love dwell in them adding that any heart filled with grudges towards another was capable of impeding spiritual upliftment and growth in the family , church ,business and family circles.
The 2023 International Women Convention of Christ Chosen Church God International which started on March 29th came to end on Sunday April 2nd.
