Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, has offered a blanket armnesty to members of the party who were involved in anti-party activities during the last elections.

Dr. Aziegbemi announced the decision while speaking with journalists during a thank-you party for PDP members in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State.

He implored the party members, including those that defected before the elections, to take advantage of the armnesty, assuring them that they would be forgiven and received with open arms.

He called on party members to come together to form a formidable party that would lead the people of Edo State the way Governor Obaseki was leading the state.

“For me as the state chairman, I am offering a blanket armnesty to all members of the party who did wrong during the elections. So that everything that was done before now is gone,” Aziegbemi said.

“The idea now is for all the PDP members in the state to come together to form a formidable party. Let us come together going forward, so that together we can form a very strong party to lead Edo State the way the governor is leading the state.

“All what has happened has happened and it is gone. Let us come together to build this party to what it was before, where all of us were together.
