The Benin Monarch, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare II, CFR, Oba of Benin, has felicitated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast.
This was contained in a Palace press release signed by Iguobaro Osaigbovo, Chief Press Secretary to the Oba.
Oba Ewuare II also commended followers of Islam for their devotion, prayers, and urged them to use the period to reflect on the tenets of the Islamic religion as enshrined in the Holy Quran.
His Royal Majesty then prayed Almighty God to forgive the sins of mankind and bring peace upon the country.
