Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section on Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL), Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani, has announced the composition of the NBA-SPIDEL Conference 2023 Planning Committee.

In a statement made available to The Nigerian Observer, the NBA Publicity Secretary stated that the conference, with the theme “Post-election Nigeria: Judiciary in the Eyes of the Storm”, will take place from May 9 to May 12, 2023.

Okey Leo Ohagba of NBA Port-Harcourt branch, a former NBA national officer, serves as the head of the committee as it is currently set up. Mr. Yakubu Saleh Bawa of the NBA Jos branch will serve as his secretary. He will be supported by Mr. Paul Babatunde Daudu of the Bwari – Abuja branch.

The Committee will announce the conference’s location as soon as possible.

The 2023 Annual Conference of NBA-SPIDEL will be remembered for all the right reasons, according to NBA President, Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau (SAN) who has put his support behind the event.
