The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has commiserated with the Chief Imam of Benin Kingdom, Sheik Abdulfatah Enabulele, over the passing of his mother, Hajiya Nura Enabulele.

In a statement, the governor described the late Hajiya Enabulele as a “compassionate and loving mother who was committed to her faith”.

“She espoused noble virtues of love and kindness and played an active role in the development of her immediate community,” Obaseki said.

“A dutiful mother, she will be remembered for her commitment to the Islamic faith and love for communal life.

“I commiserate with the family of the Chief Imam, Sheik Abdulfatah Enabulele, and pray that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss,” he said.
