The ongoing 2023 U-17 AFCON tournament in Algeria quarter-final fixtures were concluded on Thursday night, and as such, the last four teams to embark on the semi-final clashes have been revealed: Senegal, Burkina Faso, Morocco and Mali are the semi-finalists for the 2023 U-17 African Cup of Nations.

Notably on record, Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets suffered a 2-1 blow from Burkina Faso. The Burkinabes won the title in 2011 and are seeking their second crown, while Mali defeated Congo 3-0 on Thursday.

Still worth mentioning, Senegal are in for their maiden crown, after securing a 5-0 quarter finals win against South Africa, and Morocco just like Senegal, are in for their maiden crown as well. The Atlas Cubs earned a spot after a 3-0 triumph over hosts Algeria.
