In a bid to enhance internal security nationwide, the acting Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, will convene a crucial meeting with the Mobile Police Squadron at the Force Headquarters in Abuja on Monday.

IGP Egbetokun, assuring all Nigerians of improved security measures for the protection of lives and property, has pledged to restore the Mobile Police Force to its former glory.

According to a statement by CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, the meeting will serve as a platform for the acting Inspector-General of Police to unveil new operational strategies focused on enhanced training, deployments, and tactical engagements. These measures aim to bolster public safety and ensure the security of all individuals.

Egbetokun emphasized the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force under his leadership to reclaim its pivotal role in the country’s internal security architecture.
