The Permanent Secretary of the Edo State Ministry of Social Development and Gender Issues, Mrs. Barbara Osobajo, has expressed the State Government’s commitment to sustain its pursuit of the protection of rights of residents, especially the Vulnerable in the state.

Mrs. Osobajo gave the assurance while receiving Mrs. Tina Aje, a widow, on behalf of Her Excellency, Mrs Betsy Obaseki, who had invited the attention of the State Gender Based Violence Management Committee to a viral video by the widow, alleging that she and her children were denied access to her late husband’s burial by her husband’s maternal family in Benin City.
