Felicity Osemudiamhen Akuewanbhor, a student of Medical Laboratory Science at Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, is the winner of the Most Beautiful Campus Queen 2023. An indigene of Esan North East LGA of Edo State, Nigeria, Akuewanbhor has won crowns from two previous pageants and participated actively in four other pageants before the Most Beautiful Campus Queen. She will be representing Nigeria at the Miss Teen Globe International pageant in Paraguay in July. The entrepreneur, dancer, singer, and social activist who is set to cause a change in the world of beauty, class, and style, speaks on the journey to becoming the Most Beautiful Campus Queen and what lies ahead.

What was the inspiration behind running for Most Beautiful Campus Queen?
The MBCQ is a platform that innovates females across Nigeria and supports young women to help them be the best version of themselves and that inspired me because I’m an advocate of empowerment and education.

How did it feel contesting for a crown with over 100 other beautiful participants?
Having to compete with many girls that I did not know the extent of their readiness was quite overwhelming at first but being me, I enjoyed every process towards the crown, constantly reassuring myself that I am always a winner even if it seems impossible, so yes, I saw myself emerging as the winner.

How did you create balance between running for the MBCQ and managing other areas of your life?
I was able to find equilibrium between my preparations towards the MBCQ and other areas of my life through my resilient spirit, my desire to be the best amongst all odds, my friends and family that gave me great support during the contest. I believe whatever we do in life, there are always going to be difficult moments but what is important is how we are able to overcome them and stand tall in those moments. I knew competing in the Most Beautiful Campus Queen would come with some challenges that I must overcome so I prepared my mind for what was ahead.

In one phrase, describe how it has been being the Most Beautiful Campus Queen.
