According to ESPN, Luka Modric has signed an extra one-year contraction extension to keep him at Real Madrid until June 2024, as announced by the Club on Monday.

Modric’s previous contract is due to expire later this week, and reports from journalist Fabrizio Romano are that Modric received one of the biggest salary proposals ever in football from Saudi, but decided to stay at the Bernabeu as He has not failed to express his desire to remain with the Los Balancos.

The Ballon d’or winner joined Madrid in 2012 and has stayed 11years winning 21 trophies so far with the Spanish Club.
