Nigerian right-back Ola Aina has been reported by the Daily Post to be in the process of moving back to the Premier League amid West Ham United’s interest.

According to reports, though the favourites to get his signature, West Ham, are not the only club in the race to sign the talented wing-back, as Fulham are also interested in securing the services of the player.

The 26 years has come to the end of his contract with Serie A side Torino, as he has become a free Agent.

In the just concluded season, Aina experienced a dip in form, playing a total of 19 League games from a possible 38 and starting only 9 times in the season.

He was on loan to Fulham in the 2020/21 season and wasn’t able to break into the starting eleven on his return to Torino this season.

On the national level, he was a starter for the Super Eagles in the last edition of the African Cup of Nations 2021 held in Cameroon but has since fallen out of grace, as he was snubbed by Coach Jose Peseiro in the national team call-up for AFCON 2024 qualifiers.
