Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has reminded fans of his forthcoming North America world tour.

The rapper sent the reminder on Wednesday via a post on his Instagram story.

He said the North America world tour is being presented by TM Entertainment and Nyasa Entertainment and that the tour would be featured in 11 different cities across North America spanning July 15 to September 3.

Sarkodie said cities like New York will grace the opening of the tour July 15 before the calm city of Washington DC will experience the sensational performance. And the awesome soil of Edmonton will wrap up the tour September 3.

The post comes weeks after actress Yvonne Nelson accused the rapper of refusing to take responsibility after he got her pregnant.

According to Ms Nelson in her book ‘I Am Not Yvonne Nelson’, Sarkodie’s abandonment had left her with no choice than to terminate the pregnancy.

Meanwhile, the Sarkcess record boss recently cleared the air on the accusation made by Yvonne Nelson. In a track titled “Try Me”, he narrated his own part of the story of what transpired the time they dated.

“I never thought I was gonna be on this wave
cos I was ready to take a couple things to my grave,” Sarkodie sang in the opening of the rap song.

“First of, lemme clap for you baby you brave
but you can’t pick and choose what to say, please behave.”

He advised his accuser to tell the world everything that happened, including every man that she has been with instead of playing the victim.

“I’m not gonna sit here and lie we had a thing
first thing I thought you were cool till I had a hint,” he sang.

Addressing the issue of the pregnancy, he said, “Yes, I wasn’t ready but then I told you to keep it, wokyere me sɛ won school na wookɔ you’ve got to complete it.”
