President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed eight new special advisers that will serve in his cabinet in line with constitutional requirements.

The list of the new special advisers is contained in a press release issued by the State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye, on Thursday.

According to the press release, Tinubu appointed Mr. Dele Alake as Special Adviser, Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, while Mr. Yau Darazo was appointed as Special Adviser, Political and Intergovernmental Affairs.

Also, Mr. Wale Edun will serve as Special Adviser, Monetary Policies; Mrs. Olu Verheijen, Special Adviser, Energy; Mr. Zachaeus Adedeji, Special Adviser, Revenue and Mr. Nuhu Ribadu, Special Adviser, Security.

Other appointees are Mr. John Ugochukwu Uwajumogu, Special Adviser, Industry, Trade and Investment, and Dr (Mrs.) Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Adviser, Health.

President Tinubu got approval of the Senate to appoint 20 new special advisers last week.
