Savage x Fenty CEO and billionaire ace singer Rihanna has appointed former Anthropologie Group CEO, Hillary Super, to head the affairs of the lingerie brand.

Welcoming Super as the new CEO of Savage x Fenty, the singer expressed her joy seeing the impact the brand is making in the fashion industry, Vogue Business reports.

“It’s been beautiful to see our vision for Savage x Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years,” Rihanna said.

“This is just the beginning for us, and we’re going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer.

“I’m so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO — she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level,” she added.

The billionaire singer has been the CEO of the lingerie brand since 2018, before taking a bow from the role making way for Hillary Super.

Super confirmed this appointment on her Instagram page (@mssuper2u) with a photo from Vogue Business showing the appointment.

“Really pleased to finally be able to share that I’m joining Savage x Fenty as CEO and board member. New chapter starts on Monday,” she commented.

Super holds a Bachelor of Art (BA) degree in Humanities from the University of South California.

Before joining Savage x Fenty, she served as CEO of Anthropologie Group Apparel, Accessories, Beauty and BHLDN and was listed among Forty over 40 women to watch out for in 2017.

Rihanna, who is pregnant with her second child for fiancee and rapper ASAP Rocky, is yet to state the reason for stepping down as the CEO of Savage x Fenty. The mother of one will still hold the position till June 26 when Super is due to take over.
