The Naija South South Next Top Super Model, an award-winning reality TV show brand promoting the modelling and fashion industry, held its grand finale contest at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City, Edo State capital, on Sunday, 18th June, 2023.

The grand finale, themed “CIRCLE 10 – THE BOSS EDITION”, marked the end of the show that has been running since 2014, according to the organizer of the event, Jojo Dominic.

Dominic, in a chat with The Nigerian Observer, said since the show started, it has produced standard winners ready for the market, including the likes of Lydia Okojie, who won Miss ECOWAS MBGN 2022, among others, and also 16 models have made it into the international market.

He said he created the forum most especially for men because he realized women were the most targeted in modelling, so he stood up to be the first super model from the South-South.

“I’ve been able to work with so many great designers from Lagos, bringing them to Benin,” Dominic said.

“So it’s been 10 years. And this is the final draw. We’ve had 10 amazing winners. 15 models have travelled out of the country, hit international runway. So this is the first time we decided to do a live show, because it is a closing ceremony and this is the final draw. We are not doing the show anymore. Yes, it is the end of the show. So, whoever wins this show is leaving for Qatar in three weeks,” he said.

Prince, a male model, emerged as the winner of the 10th and final season of the show sponsored by Travel Around Logistics, Klassiko Event and Interior, as well as the executive producer, Jojo Dominic.
