Wimbledon men’s singles draw 2023 has been completed with Andy Murray taking on Ryan Peniston in the first round and Novak Djokovic starting his title defence against Pedro Cachin.

Two-time champion Andy Murray will have it tough at the Wimbledon 2023. This will be the Scottish star’s 15th presence at the All-England’s Club, which starts on July 3. He won the title in Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016.

Although playing with a metal hip after a career-threatening hip injury, Murray has made known his intention to carry on playing to end his career on his own terms.

Andy Murray will battle fellow Brit Ryan Peniston in the first round of Wimbledon on Tuesday. Nevertheless, the unseeded two-time champion then faces a tough second-round clash with world No 5 Stefanos Tsitsipas or 2020 US Open champion Dominic Thiem in the second round.

Wildcard Peniston, 27, is a cancer survivor who reached the second round on his Wimbledon debut last year.

Murray and Peniston are on the same side of the draw as British No 1 Cam Norrie who will face Czech qualifier and world No 107 Tomas Machac in his opening contest, express.co.uk reports.
