The Field Office of the Delta State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has been described as strategic in delivering the educational policy thrust of the state government.

The Chief Inspector of Education (CIE) for Isoko South Local Government Area, Adeda Ekuevugbe, stated this at Oleh while speaking with newsmen.

He said the office had been restructured as a befitting permanent site and thanked the state government, including the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Augustine Oghoro, for providing him and other staff a conducive working environment through the ministry.

He recalled that before 2021, the office was temporarily operating inside the Emiye Girl’s Grammar School at Oleh, adding that the office had been separated from the school, with a fence and new entrance gate.

The CIE stated that considering the importance of the office, especially in dealing with the public and different key players in the education sector, he erected a standard signpost for easy identification and accessibility in the area.

He stated that there had been cordial working relationship with the relevant stakeholders, aimed at improving the education sector in the area.
