Residents in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State have continued to lament over the sudden outrageous hike in fuel price in the country.

A bike rider, Mr. Emmanuel Tega, said the rise in fuel price would add to the hardship of the masses.

He urged the Federal Government to map out plan to alleviate the suffering of the people, saying they expected a better leadership from the Tinubu Administration after passing through untold hardship in the Buhari Administration.

Most of the residents who spoke anonymously said the removal of subsidy had brought more hardship to them while some others blamed the increments of fuel price on marketers of the products, saying the marketers were using the subsidy removal to increase the price unnecessarily to make more profit at the expense of the people, just as they called for immediate functioning of the existing refineries and increment of salaries of civil servants across the nation.
