The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has banned Mmesoma Ejikeme from writing the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the next 3 years over alleged forgery of her 2023 JAMB result.

Mmesoma Ejikeme who was accused of manipulating her JAMB results from 249 to 362 points, has also had her 249 scores withdrawn.

Dr Fabian Benjamin, JAMB spokesman said contrary to what Ejikeme claimed, no candidate scored 362 score in the 2023 UTME.

Fabian Benjamin reassured Nigeria that JAMB system was neither tampered with nor compromised as the candidate simply falsified a copy of a result slip of another candidate who sat UTME in 2021.

After a high level of investigation, JAMB announced the highest scorer for the 2023 UTME, with 360 score is Miss Umeh Nkechinyere, an indigene of Anambra State.
