The long-awaited Miss Teen Globe Beauty Pageant holding in Paraguay is finally here, and Edo State-born winner of Most Beautiful Campus Queen 2023, Felicity Osemudiamhen Akuewanbhor, who is representing Nigeria at the event, earlier opened the day with her Nigerian flag-looking outfit.
According to the beauty queen who is determined to take the crown and the throne in Paraguay and thus bring honour to her country, the piece was made by @oshobor, an Edo-based designer, as a way to bring the consciousness of Nigeria right in a foreign land and to stamp the image of the country on the stages of the Miss Teen Globe International Pageant.
Days ago, she broke the internet with her Benin-made national costume titled “Imose”.
The costume “Imose”, which means “The Beautiful One”, styled by Dennis Odion, portrays the beauty and authority of the great Benin Kingdom, the home of brave warriors in the history of leadership. It also pays homage to some Nigerian traditional heroines, including Nana Asma’u, Queen Idia, Emotan, Queen Amina of Zazzau, King Ahebi Ugbabe, and so on.
