The outgoing Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) of the Nigerian Navy Logistics Command at Oghara, Rear Admiral Olotu, has rated the host community (Oghara) as accommodating and peaceful.

He gave the rating at a ceremony to hand over to his successor, Rear Admiral Iyalla, at the Nigerian Navy Logistics Command, Oghara.

Rear Admiral Olotu noted that the host community (Oghara) was peaceful throughout his tenure and urged the people to sustain it by being law-abiding citizens so as to attract more development and progress to the area.

He commended the officers of the command and all the staff for their hard work and support all through his stay as the FOC, just as he urged them to continue to work harder, adding that he would always be there to support any of them in the future if the need arose.

He prayed for the sustenance of peace and development in Oghara Community, while wishing his successor a peaceful and successful tenure.

Speaking on behalf of the Naval and civilian staff, Adeye Kunle James commended the outgoing FOC for his good leadership, fatherly advice and creating conducive working environment in the command.

He prayed God to continue to guide the outgone FOC.
