A plane identified as Cessna 208 has been reported to have been involved in a deadly accident at the Chrcynno hanger in the airfield at central Poland at a sky diving centre during bad weather.

The State Media reported on Tuesday morning that the incident, which occurred on Monday afternoon, recorded five deaths, including the pilot, while eight persons have been feared injured, among them a six-year old child.

According to PAP news agency, the small plane crashed into the Chrcynno hanger located about 28 miles (45km) northwest of Polish capital, Warsaw, which shielded four other individuals from the stormy Poland weather at that time.

The injured victims have been taken to hospitals in the Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki area as fire fighters have been relentlessly neck deep in their search to locate additional victims of the unfortunate incidence.

Prosecutors and police were investigating the cause of the accident that has plunged the country into a national grief.

This unfortunate incident has been recorded as the worst accident related to sky diving in Poland since 2014 when a similar accident claimed 11 lives in a small plane crash in Topolow, located close to the southern city of Czestochowa.
