Super sensation Divine Ikubor, professionally known as Rema, has achieved another milestone as his album “Rave and Roses” has reached platinum sales in Canada.
Rema’s debut studio album “Rave and Roses” has sold over 80,000 copies in Canada, making him the first African artiste to achieve this feat.
This is no surprise as the album has been making waves in both the international and local scenes, racking up certifications in countries such as France, Switzerland and Poland.
The album, which was released in 2022, includes songs like “Calm Down”, “Divine”, “Soundgasm”, “Fyn”, among others and is fast becoming a classic in terms of records and streams.
Rema released the deluxe version of the album renamed “Rave and Roses ultra” in 2023, and it includes “Charm” and mega hit “Calm down remix” with Selena Gomez. It has gone to amass over a billion streams on all platforms and also top a lot of charts, including the Billboard Afrobeat charts and the US radio play charts.
