Ibrahim Giwa, the special assistant to the executive Secretary of Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, has confirmed today the deaths of two more pilgrims from Kaduna State who recently completed their Hajj rites in Saudi Arabia.

With this unfortunate news, the total number of deceased pilgrims from Kaduna State in Saudi Arabia this year has risen to four. Giwa expressed his condolences and said, “We ask Allah to grant them Jannah (paradise) and accept them as martyrs.”

The pilgrims were identified as Bashir Umar Sambo from Kubau Local Government and Sulaiman Abubakar (Unguwan Lalli) from Igabi Local Government Areas of the state. The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency officially announced their passing, stating, “The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency announces the death of Sulaiman Abubakar Unguwan Lalli, KD 086 TRK from Igabi Local Government Area, and Bashir Umar Sambo, KD 318 KB from Kubau Local Government Area.”

Giwa also mentioned that preparations are underway to transport the remaining pilgrims back to their homes. While congratulating the pilgrims on the successful completion of their Hajj rites, he advised them to manage their finances responsibly until their final return date.

Furthermore, Giwa informed the pilgrims that the distribution of their main luggage weighing 32 kg has commenced. He urged those who have lost any items to claim them at the agency’s secretariat in Makkah.
