The Super Falcons will confront the first-place team in Group D in the Round of 16.

Ahead of the England clash, Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum says his team is ready to face England in the Round of 16 at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Daily Post reports.

Recall that the former African champions booked a spot in the Round of 16 after a goalless draw with the already-eliminated Republic of Ireland at Brisbane Stadium on Monday.

Waldrum is, however, not afraid of coming up against England.

“We have already played the Olympic gold medalist; we’ve already played the host nation, so it’s just going to be another of those matches that we’ve already been playing in,” Waldrum noted.
