Former Big Brother Naija winner and ongoing All Stars edition housemate, Mercy Eke, on Monday emerged this week’s head of house while Alex and Doyin gained immunity from this week’s evictions.

Mercy is the first female head of house to emerge this season. She became head of house after she won this week’s Head of House games.

The first round of the head of house games was a seesaw game, where housemates had to pour sand into their opponents’ boxes, causing them to tip; the last person whose box tips is declared winner.

Adekunle, Doyin, Soma, Neo, Mercy and Pere made it past the first round. But at the next round Pere lost, Soma and Adekunle were disqualified while Neo dropped from the games as a result of an exchange of words between him and Adekunle, leaving Mercy and Doyin as the game finalists.

Mercy tipped Doyin’s seesaw at the finals and was announced by Big Brother as the winner. By that, she gained automatic immunity from eviction as well as access to the HOH floor with her selected best friends. She chose Angel, Frodd, Whitemoney and Doyin.

In the same vein, Doyin in a close battle with Neo won majority of nominations from alliances, thereby gaining immunity from this week’s evictions.

In the battle for the black envelope, Alex beat Tolanibaj to find the envelope. She gained immunity by so doing, making this week’s battle for immunity dominated by the female housemates.
