The Commissioner for Mining and Energy, Edo State, Hon. Enaholo Ojiefoh has been described as a beacon of Hope and an agent of positive change.

This was made known when he received members of Westwind Foundation and the Nigeria Association of Edo State Students (NAESS) who were in his office in Benin to formally present the Commissioner with an award of excellence for the transformative work he has been diligently pursuing to improve the lives of Edo people.

Hon. Enaholo who expressed gratitude to the students for recognising his tireless dedication and outstanding achievements in advancing education and mining opportunities in the state emphasized that the journey of progress is a collective effort, shared his vision for a thriving Edo State where every citizen could pursue their dreams with zeal and determination.

While underscoring the pivotal role education plays in building a society, Hon. Enaholo averred that the level of development of any nation is determined by the quality of the human capital in it.

The Commissioner took a step that would forever remain etched in the hearts of those present; Twelve students from Edo State were presented with a gift: their tuition fees for the entire year were covered by the commissioner in his vision to continually support education.
