The National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, also attended the meeting. Ribadu’s presence is expected to bring co-ordination, reporting and expedition of action to the conference

Other governors present were Babagana Zulum of Borno State, Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State, and Alex Otti of Abia State, among others.

Visiting troops in Niger State, following the said attack, Lt Gen Taoreed Lagbaja Chief of Army Staff (COAS), asked them to uphold morale and keep up the fight to maintain the peace and harmony of the nation.
