West Ham have reportedly reached a €45m total package deal for Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus for a 5-year contract Sky Sports reports.
After weeks of negotions, West Ham have finally won the battle for the 23-year-old Ghanaian sensation who was heavily linked with potential moves to Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa earlier in the summer.
Kudus initially joined Ajax in 2020 and spent 3 seasons in Amsterdam. He scored 17 goals in 41 appearances For Ajax last season and was Ghana’s stand-out performer at the 2022 World Cup.
Kudus becomes West Ham’s fought fourth summer acquisition after the signing of James Ward-Prowse from Southampton, Edson Alvarez from Ajax and Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart.
