Popular Nigeria musician, songwriter and performing artiste Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu aka Burna Boy has been confirmed among the list of music stars that will feature on the official soundtrack of the 2K’s upcoming game NBA 2K24.
ChartAfrica confirmed this via its verified X (formerly Twitter) account @chartafrica.
The self-acclaimed African Giant, whose songs have been topping charts recently, will feature on the official soundtrack of the upcoming NBA 2K24 game alongside a host of American hip-hop stars and UK rappers including Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, J Cole, Central Cee, Lil Wayne, Blxst, Glorilla, Ice Spice, among others.
It would not be the first time the Grammy-Award-winning superstar would appear in gaming soundtracks as he had previously appeared on the now-defunct EA Sports FIFA franchise, as well as Rockstars Grand Theft Auto (GTA) Online: “The Cayo Perico Heist” Trailer Song.
Meanwhile, fans have been full of praises for Burna Boy over the announcement.
“He is on a different league,” said a fan.
