… as unbeaten Gunners overcome winless Toffees

The Gunners attained a keenly contested triumph at Goodison Park on Sunday, to extend their great outset to the new season and end a six-year wait for a win on Merseyside against the Toffees

Arsenal made it four wins from five at the start of the Premier League season with a narrow 1-0 win over Everton, with the Toffees still in the bottom three on just one point from their opening fixtures. Everton sought to frustrate Arsenal for much of the match until a fine Leandro Trossard strike in the second half meant the three points deservedly went back to London, Eurosport reports.

Leandro Trossard came off the bench to fire Arsenal to a merited victory at embattled Everton with a stunning second-half winner.
