Former Governor of Edo State, Prof Osarheimen Osunbor has extolled the exemplary qualities of hardwork, rooted in judicial erudition and service to humanity of Hon. Justice Williams Aziegbemhin as his driving force.
The former governor made this known at the 60th birthday celebration of Justice Aziegbemhin and public presentation of a book titled Prosopography And Odyssey, the Making of a Judge written by the celebrant held at the prestigious Uyi Grand Event Center, GRA Benin City.
Professor Usunbor commended Justice Aziegbemhin for his remarkable contributions to the development and growth of the nation’s judicial system through his many years of meritorious service as a High Court Judge in the state judiciary.
The erstwhile governor of the state who is also a professor of law, described the celebrant as a consummate personality who besides his busy schedule and workload as a judge could find time to write a book.
Hon Justice Aziegbemhin the former governor said is a man with an abiding faith in God’s faithfulness in his life, a virtue which tells much of his humble beginning and sense of humility.
He charged other justices to emulate Hon. Justice Aziegbemhin’s example by writing books that would enrich the nation’s judicial libraries and beyond.
The book reviewer, G. C Igbokwe SAN described the combination of judicial erudition and literary prowess brought to bear by the author of the book as could be seen in the deployment of simple language as the charm that makes any reader of the book not to want to drop it until he has finished reading it.
In his remarks, the celebrant and author Hon. Justice Williams Aziegbemhin thanked his guests which included the Chief Judge of Edo State, Hon. Justice Okungbowa and other senior justices both serving and retired for finding time to grace the occasion.
Other important personalities who were present at the event included the state’s Head of Service A. O Okungbowa Esq, and several permanent secretaries in the state public service including the wife of the celebrant Prinscilia Aziegbemhin Esq.
