In order to bring about transparency and accountability in the finances of local government administration, the chairman, Uhunmwode Local Government Area (LGA), Hon. Kenneth Osarobo Adodo, has dissolved all forms of revenue collection by agents in the locality.
This was disclosed at the weekend in a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the council Comrade Chris Enabulele, who says the dissolution is with immediate effect. The statement calls on all revenue agents in Uhunmwode Local Government Area to hand over all government property in their possession to the vice chairman of the local government, Hon. Bright Egharevba Osakpamwam.
