According to the Honourable Commissioner, “The essence of this meeting is to reconcile the factional crises that we were told has been there for over six years within the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Delta State chapter.

“If such crisis of factional challenges is not resolved, it will be difficult for members of this organisation to enjoy the dividends of the M.O.R.E. agenda of our principal.

“Do not forget the fact that the M.O.R.E. agenda has a lot for the youths of Delta State and no matter how good a seed maybe, if it is not planted on a fertile ground, it will be difficult for that seed to germinate.

“We don’t want a situation where the dividends of the M.O.R.E. agenda of our principal, His Excellency, RT Hon (Elder) Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State will begin to roll out programmes, some persons by reasons of such factional challenges, will not be able to benefit from them.

“This is why we took this very bold step by reconciling all of these issues.
