The Edo State Coordinator, National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), Amb. Theodore Ehannire, has stressed the need for the Federal College of Education (Technical) Ekiadolor to enroll its staff and students into the NHIA health insurance programme.

This was part of the discussions when Ehannire, accompanied by NHIA Head of Programmes, Mr Seun Adeoye, paid a courtesy and advocacy visit to the Rector of the institution, Dr. Emmanuel Asagha, and the management staff.

The College of Education was hitherto owned by the Edo State Government but is now owned by the Federal Government.

The modalities and possibility of enrolling the staff and students of the Federal College of Education Ekiadolor were discussed and established.

In his remarks, Dr. Asagha, who was on ground to receive the NHIA team alongside the institution’s registrar and bursar, thanked the State Coordinator for finding time to come to the institution despite his tight schedule, saying he was very encouraged to see the NHIA team.
