Determined to engender participatory democracy and fulfilment of a promise made, Akoko-Edo Local Government Council chairman, Hon. Tajudeen Alade Suleman Esq has embarked on the inspection on the Igarra-Ibillo Federal Government expressway to ascertain the level of compliance by the local government works department handling the project.
The chairman who expressed satisfaction on the palliative work carried out on the road, noted that Akoko-Edo people and other users of the road would heave a sigh of relief accessing the road especially during the yuletide season.
According to him, “This is another watershed in the annals of the numerous developments I promised my people. Rest assured that we would register more milestones in many other facets of our lives before the expiration of my three-year tenure.”
Hon. Alade Esq made a stopover at the residence of his political leader and someone very indispensable in his political trajectory, Monday Sule popularly known as Area One for some pleasantries.
He thereafter came to Ward One in Ugbogbo quarters in company of his representative, Hon. Ozaveshe Ojo and other enthusiastic youths who came all out to catch a glimpse at the council chieftain.
