Senator Abba Moro, a former Minister of Interior in the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, has appointed to the esteemed position of Senate Minority Leader.

Senator Moro, a four-time Senator hailing from Benue State in the North Central region, was nominated and subsequently confirmed by the opposition party.

His appointment follows the departure of Senator Simon Davou Mwadkwon from the Plateau North Senatorial district, who was ousted from the Senate by the Appeal Court.
